Become A Foster
Fostering is the main way of volunteering we have available. We supply all vetting and supplies needed. If you would like to help with any of that as a donation it is greatly appreciated but not required. Specific requirements vary case by case. If you are up for reaching out to the adopters when the time comes ,after they are approved by us, to talk about your foster to see if they’re a good fit and potentially have a meet and greet, we have found it’s the best way to know the forever home is the ideal match! If you are not up for that we respect your privacy and will handle it on our end. You will be able to specify what you are and are not able to help with in the application.
DISCLAIMER: Fostering is a DONATION of your time. If you do decide to adopt your foster (which we highly support!) there is no discount to the adoption fee. We greatly appreciate all our fosters and the time they donate! But we have to charge the same adoption fee for every animal to continue to run. We appreciate your understanding

Requirements to foster
1. Must live in or near Missoula.
2. Must be able to take animal to vet appointments in Missoula.
3. Must be able to give medication if needed.
4. All animals that you own must be up to date on all vaccines and fixed.(unless they are to young).
5. Must be okay with landlord if renting.
6. Must be over 18.
