Neighborhood Trap, Neuter&Release
(TNR)
Our newest program to help the cat population and neighborhoods of Missoula.
So, how does it work?
This program is for neighborhood in Missoula County. What we do is locate and get in touch with neighbors that’s stray cat population is out of control. Once in touch we let all neighbors within a 2 block radius or the entirety of the trailer park know that we will be setting a date to go into the neighborhood and do a large TNR. This way pet owners know to keep their kitties inside while we are doing it, as well as not to feed any strays for the days leading up to the TNR.
We will also be offering LOW INCOME spay and neuters to the neighbors in that area (funding allowing).
We will also be doing our best to make sure that the feral strays released back have a consistent CLEAN food and water supply as well as safe shelter from Montanas unpredictable weather.

As of right now we are only able to offer this service in Missoula. Hopefully one day in the future we can expand where we are able to help!
Willingness to Help
Any Trap, Neuter and Release (TNR) is no easy feat. Between transporting the animals, setting and checking traps, and overall planning it is a labor of love. We ask that if you are signing your neighborhood up you are willing to help with what you can!
Raising the Funds!
This is the part where community REALLY comes into play. Any fund that you and your neighbors can help raise will be GREATLY appreciated! We will be working to secure funding as well case by case but any help counts. If you have some fundraiser ideas and/or can get some funds together we will likely be able to help you sooner!
